The Foundation focuses on cultural exchange and the preservation as well as reappraisal of the visual arts of the 70s/80s. It initiates and supports projects on application without thematic limitation in all fields dealing with the art of these years. In particular, the foundation maintains the estates as well as the current works of the members of the artist group RATGEB Berlin 1977-1985.

The foundation was established in Berlin in 2021.
